I worked closely with the business, marketing and development teams to improve the digital trading platform and update the marketing website.

Value Proposition
In our first workshop we set about defining our Value Proposition with the CEO and COO. Taking into account the businesses vision and mission statements, customer needs and digital services, we settled on a very compelling VP that allowed us drive our business, technical and design decisions.
Personas
Having defined our ‘Why’, we now needed to understand ‘Who’ we were building this platform for and what their needs were. At the highest level, our customers were made up of Buyers, Sellers, and Traders, however, as we looked deeper into the needs of each user, we identified 12 different personas.
Information Architecture
Understanding the needs of these 12 different personas allowed us to identify and deliver the most relevant content and actions for each user - to achieve their primary task as quickly (and easily) as possible.
Exploration
Wireframes
A common persona was chosen and a user journey was explored.
Prototype
A low-fi prototype was then built, iterating and refining the user journey and micro-interactions to provide the easiest, quickest and most initiative user experience. This was then cross-referenced against the most common user stories, so all the customer needs and features were included.

The first feature to be built was the landing page (once a user had logged in).
Design Systems
Two Design Systems were constructed for this project - one in the existing JS React framework and the second in a Flutter/Material 3 framework for the app.

Marketing Website
Sitemap and content hierarchy
A Squarespace template was chosen for this marketing website. Fundamental to using this all-in-one solution was finalising and approving the sitemap, content, and content hierarchy before starting the design.
